Hasbro VCamNow Camcoder for your kids
in Kids Camcorders, Kids Electronics
The VCamNow is a fantastic video camera which can also play the role of a regular digital camera or webcam for your computer. And for only $85, you get quite a lot packed into this little unit: the 1.5-inch flip-out LCD viewfinder allows you to see what you’re recording, and it records at 10 frames per second in 320×240 resolution.
That isn’t enough to capture full-motion video (typically more like 30 frames per second), so you can’t expect to capture a lot of action shots, but this camera is still great for capturing fun times with the family. Uploading your videos and photos to your computer is easy with the Universal Serial Bus 2.0 port, and the VCamNow comes with software to allow you to easily create movie CDs. The camera can also be directly connected to your television.
The unit also acts as a 1.3-megapixel digital camera, complete with a 4X digital zoom. The 32MB of internal memory can be expanded with the Secure Digital/MultiMedia Card slot, and the whole unit only requires two AA batteries to run. Best of all, its easy to transport, being small enough to fit in a small bag, and small enough to be easily handled by ages 8 and up, according to the manufacturer.
